The first time an existing Operator
attempts to sign into the Texada SRM application through
Web App or an Open Client on a new machine, computer,
or device a secure password is required to validate access.
A "Temporary Password" that is valid for only 15 minutes, is
immediately emailed or 'text messaged' to the primary and to the
alternate email addresses already setup for the user in Operators Codes.
Once validated a "safe" identifier for this machine or device is logged in the Double Layer Security List and all Operators will be able login normally from that machine or device.
Re-Try Required?
If for some reason the password is not accepted after three
attempts, that password becomes invalid and a new password is sent
for the operator to try again.
Email Password Authentication Error?
An error will be generated if the operator attempting to sign in
does not have a valid email address.
To enable a Web App or Open Client browser validation and sign in
for this operator, either email addresses must be added in the
Operators Codes from an MFC (Microsoft
Foundation Class) Windows Client or from a machine or device that
has already been validated as secure, or a different operator with
existing email addresses can sign-in and validate the device.
Refer to Open Client for other unique functionality of a Web App or Open Client.
