This DPL Configuration option is only available in the
menu tree on Linux systems when the Telematics processing
has been activated in the Software
Integration.
Integration with the DPL system enables email alerts regarding
non-bulk rental equipment risk levels to be sent to the equipment
service managers and to the site superintendents defined on the
rental document.
Refer to the Software Integration for
feature activation and an overview.
Then use the following configuration utilities to structure your
firm's alert process:
Notification Times - setup for notification codes to control when notifications get sent, and defaults for Data Tags
Data Tags defines individual alarm codes retrieved by DPL with optional action notes to email, and the email retry and interval values
Notification Matrix - groups the Data Tags into categories or Levels that can be assigned to Service Managers and Site Superintendents as Notify Levels
Division Setup - setup divisional equipment Service Manager to receive alerts, with time offset for different time zones
Note: If one interface is running, the next interface cannot start until the running interface either times out or completes its task.
i.e. If interval is 10 minutes, then it will only report once
every 10 minutes that there are errors connecting to the
server.
This does not control alert message frequencies, if an alert comes
in ever minute, that will be mailed based on the email Alarm
Processing Interval.
