System Maintenance Menu -> Configure System Settings -> Automatic Job Scheduling -> Function AEMP01A -> Import AEMP Telematics
The Association of Equipment Management Professionals or AEMP is an industry standard for tracking equipment information that can be integrated with SRM when configured on the AEMP Telematics tab of the Software Integration Parameters.
The AEMP processing enables information to be captured on non-bulk rental products equipped with the tracking device based on the Telematic ID set for relevant equipment in the Rental Information, so the data can be returned to Texada SRM.
This Import AEMP Telematics utility will process all
Telematic vendors enabled in AEMP
Telematics, if a username and URL are configured.
Any disabled vendors or vendors with no username and URL will be
ignored.
The program imports the data returned from the equipment into
SRM.
When the import is run an information message is generated to
indicate if the AEMP Telematics import was successful or whether it
failed.
If an email address is defined in the AEMP
Telematics configuration, an update alert is also sent out by
email.
The updated GEO Location Data can be viewed for the relevant
non-bulk equipment in the GEO Location
History window of the Rental
Information.
The AEMP01A job can also be setup in the Automatic Job Scheduling to automatically run the data imports.

Note: When the Telematics import is run manually by SCS staff, an XML report is also generated for debug purposes.
