This is also a maintenance utility that can be added to an Additional Options menu as it is not on the standard menu for menu tree access.
This screen only applies to Canadian, Australian and New Zealand companies and can be used to map the Session ID (IP address) to the associated 'Card Reader' that has been setup in Texada Pay Card Readers - Canadian or Texada Pay Card Readers - Australia & New Zealand.
Canadian Setup
This 'Texada Pay Session ID to Card Reader Mapping' table can be
populated or can be left blank.
When left blank the user will be prompted to choose a Card Reader
the first time a payment is processed in the Texada Pay - Prompt for Card Reader window, and then
the 'Session ID' field in this mapping table for that 'Card Reader'
will automatically be populated with the user's IP address for an
MFC session or the Session Identifier for an Open Client
session.
If the Session ID is changed and another payment is taken then that payment will fail and the user will be prompted to "re-choose" a Card Reader in the Texada Pay - Prompt for Card Reader window, before the payment can be processed.
Australian and New Zealand Setup
This 'Texada Pay Session ID to Card Reader Mapping' table must be
populated with the relevant Session ID that can be copied from the
path at the bottom of the session, and the Card Reader which can be
selected from the drop-down list as entered in Texada Pay Card Readers
This triggers the One-Time Pairing Code pop-up which
requires the pairing code from the scanner device that was provided
when the device was setup.
Refer to Smartpay Pairing Code for
identifying the Pairing Code.
If this Pairing Code changes or is entered incorrectly, delete the
mapping entry and re-enter it.
