Texada SRM can be accessed by a web browser such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, or Chrome.
The help information can be accessed from the ? symbol at the bottom right of the browser screen.

Note: Some versions of Firefox may not be supported.
If your firm is having this unsupported browser version issue with Mozilla, refer to Firefox Version Patch for possible patch information.

Security
When a new computer or device first attempts to sign-in to the Texada SRM application through a Web App session, a secure password is required to validate access.
Refer to Open Client New Device for instructions.

Once validated, secure machines are logged and tracked in the Double Layer Security List.


Dropped Sessions
Dropped OC sessions can be recovered on the same device and in the same browser.
Refer to Logging on to Texada SRM for recovery instructions.

Printing
The Web App is compatible with Jasper forms 3.0 that can be setup in Customer Forms.

Refer to Printer Selection for Open Client Restrictions in printer selection.

When output is generated to an alternate printer such as Check List Printers or Daily Close Printers and the printer selection is not valid for Open Client such as LP1, then report opens as PDF on the Client side.

Web App or Open Client sessions do not support Bar Code label or Check printing.
Web App or Open Client sessions do not support Crystal forms.
Web App or Open Client sessions do not support the Signature Capture feature as currently this employs Crystal forms.

Note: If reports or documents generated from a Web App or Open Client session do not appear to be working, confirm the pop-ups in the local browser are enabled.


Session ID
The Web App or Open Client session ID is displayed on the bottom information bar.
This ID is used to identify the machine or device for secure access as outlined in the Double Layer Security List.
This information can also be useful if a session becomes locked or hung and needs to be cleared.
Review the Clear Users to view the corresponding Linux PTS# or Windows session.

Note: Automatic Login by Operating System Login Name feature does not apply to Web App or Open Client sessions, as the user cannot be determined prior to signing in.


Help File
The context sensitive help file can be accessed by clicking on the ? icon at the right on the information bar at the bottom of the screen.
The function currently opened is also displayed for reference on this information bar.

Note: Using Open Client if this Index page, the manual menu tree, or other manual pages do not appear to be updated with a recent manual download, the browser cache may need to be cleared in the browser settings.
