Copy List Prices to Price Code

This program can be used to create pricing for a product Special Price Code based on an increase or decrease of the current standard List Price for that sales product.
The product selection can be based on Product Class, Group, or Product Number.
The prompts are:

FROM PRODUCT CLASS

Leave this field blank to include products from all classes, or enter the starting Product Class, or select it from the Product Class Search window.

TO PRODUCT CLASS

Leave this field blank to include products from all classes, or enter the ending Product Class, or select it from the window.

FROM PRODUCT GROUP

Leave this field blank to include products from all groups, or enter the starting Group, or select it from the Group Search window.

TO PRODUCT GROUP

Leave this field blank to include products from all groups, or enter the ending Group, or select it from the window.

FROM PRODUCT NUMBER

Leave this field blank to include all products, or enter the starting product number, or select it from the Inventory Search window.

TO PRODUCT NUMBER

Leave this field blank to include all products, or enter the ending product number, or select it from the window.

INCREASE / DECREASE BY

Select one of the following approaches to update prices:

• Click Percentage to base the increase or decrease on a percent of the existing List Price.

  PERCENTAGE INC/DEC

  Enter the percent to increase or decrease from the List price.
  Indicate a decrease with a negative percent.
  e.g. for a 10% increase enter 10 but for a 10% reduction, use -10.00

• Click Flat Amount to enter a straight dollar amount as the change to the existing List Price.

  FLAT AMOUNT INC/DEC

  Enter the dollar amount by which to increase or decrease the List price defined in the Sales Inventory applying it to the Price Code entered in the Copt To Price Code.
  Indicate a decrease with a negative dollar value.

  The original List price defined in the Sales Inventory is not changed.

ROUNDING FACTOR

Leave this field blank if no rounding up applies, or type in the amount that the software should round up the rate increase/decrease.
e.g. To round up to the nearest 50 cents - type .50, or for the nearest dollar, type 1.00

COPY TO PRICE CODE

Enter the price code or select it from the Price Code Search window.

Note: 'Blank' is a valid Price Code and if selected, will be updated.

CLEAR DESTINATION FIRST

Check this box to delete all previous price levels for this price code for the products in the selection range to be updated, including Markup, Discount, and List type prices.
All existing Price Codes are removed and only the new List price records are re-added.

Uncheck this box to only add the new pricing records to the Price Codes if no List price record already exists for the Price Code.
This means if a pricing record already exists for List in this Price Code, no changes are made to any existing pricing records and the new increase/decrease will not be applied.

Note: Changes to the Price Code values from this copy utility are only logged in the Price Code List Changes utility, if the target destination is cleared before the copy.
