This utility provides easy access to the Default Rate structures
assigned to each Product Class.
This information is also available in Product Class rates
window in each of the Rental Classes.
To view the rates, enter a Rental Product Class or select
one from the Product Class Search
window.
Rate codes for this class can be viewed, added, modified or
deleted.
The fields include the Code, Description, To Hours, Rate Hours,
Rate Book flag, and Rate amount. The Alternate language description
can be defined in the expanded detail line.
For further information about each of these fields refer to the
Company Default Rates.
-
- RATE BOOK FLAG:
- The rates that are printed on the rate book or on the rental
document are controlled by the Company default rate flag and each
Product Class default rate flag, according to the following:
- For Rate Books by Description or Product # order, the rates to
print are determined by using the first 6 rates with the Rate
Book checked in the Company Default
Rates.
- For Rate Books by Product Class, the rates to print are
determined by using the first 6 rates with Rate Book checked
in this window or in the window on the "Product Class Rates" field
in Rental Product Classes.
- For Rate codes to print on the Contract, the rates to print are
determined by using the first 4 rates with the Rate Book
checked in the Company Default Rates.
Check this box to print this rate on the Rental Rate Books by
description or by product number.
Uncheck this box if this rental rate should not print on the Rental
Rate Book.
Note: When new Product Classes are added, the Company Default Rates default flag is applied to
the new class.
ALTERNATE LANGUAGE
- The Alternate Language text may be entered for each Product
Class default rate code description in each expanded rate code
record, and also in each Company default rate record in Company Default Rates.
The Alternate Language option needs to be set in the Company Miscellaneous Parameters and also for the
relevant customers in Customer
Information.
For standard documents and Crystal Forms the wording of the
document text can be customized for two languages in the Document Field Labels table.
For Jasper documents refer to Jasper Appearance and
Formatting window of Customer Forms
for the language and label controls.
