Copy Division Parameters
System Maintenance Menu -> Configure
System Settings -> System -> Company &
Divisions -> Division Parameters ->
COPY -> Copy Division Parameters
This utility can be used to copy the divisional parameters
settings in Division Parameters from a
source division to a target division. It can be accessed by
clicking the COPY button in Division Parameters.
A separate prompt controls whether the address and information from
Divisions is also copied to the target
division.
The prompts are:

- COPY FROM DIVISION
- Enter the source division FROM which to copy the divisional
control settings in Division
Parameters.
TO DIVISION, "ALL" OR "SEL"
- Select one of the following options to define the target
divisions to which to copy the divisional parameters:
- Type ALL to copy the Copy From Division information to
all other divisions.
- To copy the parameters to a single division, leave this field
blank for the Head Office Division, or enter a specific division
code, or select a division from the drop-down list.
- Type SEL to select an accounting region or a range of divisions
to update with the copied parameters as outlined in Division Select By Region.
Note: Any existing settings will be replaced.
COPY DIVISION INFORMATION
- Uncheck this box to prevent the address and information in
Divisions from being copied from the
source division to the target division.
Check this box to copy the Divisions
information.
Any existing information will be replaced.
COPY "CASH" CUSTOMER NUMBERS
- Uncheck this box if the two default Add Cash Customers
in the "Customer Settings" of the Divisional
Contract Parameters should not be copied to the new divisions.
Check this box to copy the default customer numbers to the new
division parameters including:
- Customer # To Clone
- Customer # To Clone For Quotes
Any existing information will be replaced.
COPY COMMENTS FOR CONTRACTS
- Uncheck this box if the Contract Comments Required setup
in the Document Comments table in the
"General Settings" of the Divisional Printing
Parameters should not be copied to the new divisions.
Check this box to copy the contract comments to the new division
parameters.
COPY TRANSPORT SUPPLIER INFO
- Uncheck this box if the information in the Transport Supplier window in the "General Settings"
of the Divisional Delivery/Pickup Parameters
should not be copied to the new divisions.
Check this box to copy the Transport Supplier Information to the
new division parameters.
COPY DEFAULT PICKUP COMMENTS
- Uncheck this box if the default Default Comment for
Pickup tickets in the "Pickup Settings" of the Divisional Delivery/Pickup Parameters should not be
copied to the new divisions.
Check this box to copy the default pickup comments to the new
division parameters.
COPY CUSTOMER SURVEY CONFIG
- Uncheck this box if the configuration values setup in the
Customer Survey Configuration should not be
copied to the new divisions.
Check this box to copy the Customer Satisfaction Survey setup and
html code to the new division parameters.
Finished?
- Click ACCEPT to proceed or CANCEL to abort.
Confirmation is required, as this action cannot be
reversed.
Any variations in the settings can now be made in Division Parameters according to the new
division's business practices.
Values that will NOT be copied include:

Additional actions provided by buttons on
the Copy Division Parameters screen include:
- Copy Divisional Parameter History:
Click the VIEW LOG button to the Copy Log that tracks
the date, operator and divisions that have been copied.
