The Minimum, Maximum, and Re-Order Multiple
defined on the primary Re-order screen for a sales product in
Inventory Re-Order Information or for a
bulk rental product in Make/Model and
Re-Order Information, become the default values for any
location that has an existing quantity (RSIL) when the Re-order
by Location flag is first set.
The values can then be manually adjusted as required for the
individual locations in this window.
Records may also be added for locations that require re-order
information, even if they currently have no quantity on hand.
Bin numbers may be added.
Sales products that are not ordered by Location will always
display Location as 'ALL' on the Sales
Inventory Min/Max Report.
Individual Location records with the associated Min/Max quantities
and information will print on the Sales
Inventory Min/Max Report for the Sales Inventory that is setup
to utilize this "Re-Order By Location" feature.
The location re-order fields are:
Note: When Purchase Orders are created for inventory flagged as Re-Order By Location from the Inventory Re-Order Report through the Generate P.O. From Worksheet utility, it is the Generate P.O. By Location From Worksheet flag in the Company Inventory Parameters that controls whether the Purchase Orders are created for each location, or whether the total quantity is ordered on a P.O. from the operator's location.
Uncheck this box to always re-order this Sales part for this
location using the 'Min/Max' quantities, regardless of the
Min/Max or Sales History selection on the Inventory Re-Order Report.
This box is always unchecked for rentals ordered by location and
cannot be changed.
Check this box to always re-order this Sales part for this
location using the 'Sales History' quantity calculation on the
Inventory Re-Order Report regardless of
the selection made there for Min/Max or Sales History.
This choice is not available to rentals ordered by
location.
This value can also be updated from the Edit Min/Max Utility, from the Update Re-Order Min/Max Qty's by Sales History and from the Update Product Min/Max import tool.

Changes to Order Quantities:
If the Re-Order by
Location option in Inventory Re-Order
Information for the Sales Part or in the Make/Model and Re-Order Information for a Rental
Product is de-activated for that product (i.e. unchecked) these
location value records do not apply and will automatically be
removed.
If the Re-Order by Location box is re-checked for the
product, the default values will be re-applied from the primary
product screen.
If the primary Minimum, Maximum, or Re-Order Multiple is changed for the product in Inventory Re-Order Information for the Sales Part or in the Make/Model and Re-Order Information for a Rental Product, the Update Re-Order by Locations window is triggered providing the option to also update the order by location values.
If the maintenance utility Remove Qty 0 Locations is run, any re-order records with zero inventory quantity at a location will be removed.
