Update Make/Model Information


Utilities Menu -> Inventory Control -> Update Make/Model Information

This option applies to both Sales and Rental Equipment, providing a quick update utility for the Make/Model and Re-Order information defined for a specific Sales Inventory or Rental Inventory product.
To update the 'Make' and 'Model' for the rental products in a Class selection range, click on the UPDATE button to access the Update Product Make & Model utilities.

To update a single product, enter the Product# or select a product from the Inventory Search window.
The appropriate Re-Order window displays for the Sales Products as outlined in Re-Order Information, or for Rental Products as outlined in Make/Model and Re-Order Information.
Changes can be made to this information.

Note: The Make, Model, and Date of Manufacturing fields can be set as required fields for non-bulk equipment if the Mandatory Make/Model/Manufacture Date flag is activated in the Company Inventory Parameters.
They also become mandatory for non-bulk rental equipment and for bulk equipment belonging to a Re-Rent Product Class, when the Rouse Analytics feature is activated in the in the Software Integration.

If the primary order quantities or re-order multiple is changed for a sales product or bulk rental product that is ordered by location, the option to also update the order by location values is provided in the window as outlined in Update Re-Order by Locations.

Any changes made to the Re-Order Price are tracked, and an audit report on history of Re-Order Price changes can be generated from Product Value Override Report.
Re-Order Price changes are also included in the more general Override Report.
