Customer Document Inquiry
Accounts Receivable Menu -> Customer Document
Inquiry
This inquiry provides a complete view of all the documents that
have been created for a customer.
The inquiry can be sorted by date or document type, and can be
generated by location, listing in ascending or descending
order.
Documents include:
C - Contracts
R - Reservations
I - Invoices
Q - Rental Quotations
S - Sales Quotations
E - Estimates
W - Work Orders
O - Sales orders
The prompts are:

- DIVISION, "ALL" OR "SEL"

- Type ALL to include all divisions in the output.
- To generate output for a single division, leave this field
blank for the Head Office Division, or enter a specific division
code, or select a division from the drop-down list.
- Type SEL to select several specific divisions or divisions by
accounting region to include in the report, as outlined in Division Select By Region.
CUSTOMER
- Enter the customer number or look it up in the window as
outlined in Accounting Customer Search
window.
DOCUMENT LOCATION
- Select one of:
- Select Current to view only the current open
documents.
- Select History to view only the closed or posted
documents.
- Select Both to view Both open and closed documents.
SORT ORDER
- Select one of:
- Select By Date to sort the documents by date, regardless
of the type of document.
- Select By Type to sort the documents by the document
type, and then by date within each type.
SORT IN ASCENDING ORDER
- Check this box to list the documents in Ascending date
sequence.
Uncheck this box to list the documents in Descending date
sequence.
START DATE
- Accept the beginning of the current month or enter a preferred
starting date for the document range.
END DATE
- Accept today's date or enter an ending date for the document
selection range.
DOCUMENT#
- If the search is for a specific document in the date range, and
the number is known, enter the document number.
Leave this field blank to include all documents in the range.
Finished?
- Click the ACCEPT button to generate the list, or CANCEL to
abort.
Resulting Document List:
Documents are listed with the date, the type of document and the
document number.
The ability to drill down to the header, details, services, and
totals of each document is provided as outlined in View Document Information.
