Revenue Report
The revenue Summary report shows customer totals for rentals,
sales, and services in the selected range.
The Detailed report lists all invoices for a customer or customer
range. It shows products rented or sold, quantity, costs, revenue
and margin.
The spreadsheet detailed output also includes a column to indicate
if the invoice was generated from Cycle Billing by Batch or as a
Single billing, or neither such as Miscellaneous Invoice or Rental
Return, and whether this is the first invoice billed on the
contract or not the first, with the option to output the associated
G/L Revenue account.
Because of all the selection filters that are available with
this report, the generation time could be lengthy, so the Customer Revenue Report - Express option is provided
with a reduced number of filters but a faster response time.
Select a date range, a product class range, a product range and
then Rentals, Sales or both Rentals & Sales.
A cut-off dollar amount or a cut-off number of customers can be
entered, and then all customers either above or below this cut-off
mark can be selected.
Customers that have not generated any revenue according to the
selection filters can be excluded from the report.
Similar information is viewable in Revenue
History.
The Customer Revenue Report can also be setup to be run
automatically with the results emailed to staff, by setting up
RSSH17 with the relevant filters and email addresses in the
Automatic Reporting.
When the "Print 5 Year" option is selected an “Ending on Month” is
required as a date or shortcut date in Automatic Reports, and the
From/To Date, Summary/Detail and Excel inputs will be ignored.
Currency Exchange Impact On Revenue In Sales History:
If the exchange posting processing has been activated in Support Application Parameters, the Revenue values
on the report have been converted to your currency by the currency
exchange percent in Currency Codes.
