This Texada Pay feature provides the ability to integrate
directly with a Bank or Credit Card using the OpenEdge
software authorization service when a Debit, Interac, Check or
Credit card payment is received for invoices, deposits on a
document, or payments against a customer's account.
This feature is available to Canada, U.S., Australia and New
Zealand currencies.
Australian and New Zealand utilize a Card scanning device by
'SMARTPAY' which can be reached at 0800 476 278.
Part of the setup is to identify the "Pairing Code" for the
specific scanner that needs to be mapped in SRM in the Texada Pay Session IDs window.
Getting a Pairing Code
Power on the scanning device. If the device has not been paired
previously it will display "terminal is not paired, pair it
now?".
This display stays on for about 60seconds before disappearing.
Select YES and the 8 digit pairing code is returned.
