Portal Usage Logs


Portal Management -> Current Active Sessions -> REPORT button -> Portal Usage Logs

This utility can be used to view or to print the Portal usage statistics, including the number and types of calls by each customer, with activity dates and times.
Errors such as invalid password attempts and change of password, are also tracked with the date and time.

The prompts are:

FROM DATE
Accept the first day of the current month, or enter a preferred starting date.

TO DATE
Accept the today's date, or enter a preferred ending date.

REPORT OPTIONS
Select one of the following output options:
  • Select Print to generate the output according to the reporting selection currently defined for this session in the Printer Selection window, accessible from the Printer -> Set Printer option located on the menu bar at the top of the screen.
  • Select Display to view the information as an inquiry on the screen in Summary.
    Windows to view the details are provided in the Calls column to display the API's called and number of calls by date/time, and also in the Errors column to identify any errors issued with date/time.

  • Select Excel to export the output to an Excel spreadsheet.
    The ability to email the spreadsheet or display it on the screen is controlled by the Prompt to Email Spreadsheets flag set in Company Miscellaneous Parameters .

    Note: Report totals are not generated on the spreadsheet format. If subtotals or totals are required, use the Excel functionality to generate them.


REPORT TYPE
Select one of the following formats:
  • Select Summary to generate a summary of the Portal usage, listing the customer#, name, number of calls, number of errors, and last activity date.
  • Select Details to output details of Portal usage including the API's called and any errors by date for each customer.

Finished?
Click ACCEPT to generate the output, or CANCEL to abort.
