Work Order Service Kits
System Maintenance Menu -> Configure
System Settings -> Operations Tab -> General
Settings -> Work Order Service Kits
Work Order parts kits, frequently used in scheduled maintenance
and service of your sale and rental equipment can be setup and
assigned to the specific products using the "Work Order Service
Kits" the "General Settings" on the Operations tab of the
Configure System Settings.
An operator must be assigned a Security
Role that allows permission to the Operations - Work Order
Service Kits in order to access this table.
Set up the maintenance service kit as follows:

- SERVICE KIT#
- Accept the next auto-assigned kit number or enter a kit
number.
Numbers or letters can be used for the service kit #.
A window is provided to view existing kits as outlined in
Service Kit Search.
DESCRIPTION
- Enter the description of the kit.
Service Kit Parts:
Multiple parts may be added in each kit. The prompts are:

- SEQ
- The sequence number tracks the records in the kit.
PRODUCT NUMBER
- Enter the sales product to be used in this kit or lookup the
part in the Inventory Search.
Note: Serialized Sales parts cannot be listed as a component on
a Service Kit, as Service Kits are sometimes added automatically to
a repair, and a specific serial number must be manually
confirmed.
DESCRIPTION
- The part description displays, but can be over-typed for the
purposes of this kit.
- ALTERNATE LANGUAGE
- Window to view and modify the Alternate Language
Description.
QUANTITY
- Enter the quantity of the part to be used in this service
kit.
ACTIONS:
Additional actions provided by buttons on
the Work Order Service Kit screen include:
- Print Service Kits:
Prior to selecting a specific
kit, click the REPORT button at the bottom of the
screen to print selected Service Kits as outlined in Print Service Kit Details.
